BOH Tea F&B, eCommerce The largest tea producer in Malaysia, producing around 4 million kg of tea annually. Cross-continental WooCommerce build for Malaysia's best-known tea brand, with multicurrency and multi-point logistics.
Cxociety B2B media A Singapore B2B media company reaching C-level technology and finance leaders across Asia Pacific. We manage the whole media estate behind FutureCFO, FutureCIO, FutureIoT and FutureCISO: a high-traffic network that stays fast and stays up.
TopRacing Garage Automotive A Petaling Jaya performance workshop and GTR specialist in tuning and aftermarket parts. Brand discovery and research: the strategy groundwork that comes before anything gets built.
SMF CCL Corporate training The training arm of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Singapore's oldest and largest manufacturing industry body. Care and hosting for smfccl.sg, managed across the border since 2024.
Fortier Retail A Malaysian importer and distributor of wines and spirits, carrying brands from Ardmore to the Mars Japanese range. Design and build of a new eCommerce home at fws.com.my.
Ecoworld Property A public-listed Malaysian property developer with townships across the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia and Penang. The Eco Hubs microsite for the EcoWorld property group.
Constellar Exhibitions The operator of Singapore Expo, convening trade events across Singapore, Malaysia and China. Corporate sites for one of the region's largest exhibition organisers, in Malaysia and Singapore.
Traworld Travel A Kuala Lumpur travel-tech platform for booking getaways, attractions and tours on web and mobile. Platform build for a Malaysian travel-tech company, with Michael inside as Head of Tech from 2021 to 2022.
Aube Hair Beauty A Japanese salon brand from Aoyama, Tokyo, with more than 250 salons worldwide. Sites for a salon group across Malaysia, Bangkok, London and Vietnam.

Standards-compliant WordPress builds, from brochure sites to full eCommerce with multicurrency and multi-point logistics. We also rescue sites other people built.

Web upgrades

Improvements to the site you already have: more traffic and leads, eCommerce, analytics, speed and security. Scoped and priced as projects, so you know where the work ends.

Support and management

Updates, monitoring and fixes, handled quietly in the background. You run the business; we keep the website standing.

Seventeen years of it

Pixl started as a side project in 2009, when Michael was building WordPress sites on referral while working in digital media. The referrals kept coming. In 2014 he left Yahoo! Malaysia and went full time; the studio became Pixl in 2015. Since then the work has ranged from brochure sites for KL salons to cross-continental eCommerce for BOH Tea, and in 2018 we started building our own managed hosting because we were tired of everyone else's. Today Pixl is a boutique team of five. We take on a small number of large projects a year, and we look after the sites we build.

We also run the servers

Pixl VPS Hosting. Managed WordPress servers we built for our own sites, then opened to clients.

Tuned Nginx stack on high-frequency compute: server-side caching, hardened firewall, free SSL on every site.

We use our own hosting and we are very impatient people.

Five plans from RM99 to RM720 a month, on servers we run ourselves.

MichaelFounder and CEO Building websites since 2009; left Yahoo! Malaysia in 2014 to build what became Pixl. Has personally shipped more than a hundred sites.
Peng HaoDesigner Brand, web, event and print design. Fine Arts graduate of Universiti Sains Malaysia and a regular on WordCamp organising teams, including WordCamp Asia 2026.
